Amazon Wish List Tracking
Sadly, I suspect this one is a not insignificant amount of work to change some fundamental things of the site, but if there was a way to submit our wishlists and then have them tracked for changes. So, when I buy/remove something from my list, it is no longer tracked by Camel. Likewise, when I add, it is auto-added nightly or weekly or some sort of schedule.

This actually wouldn't be a ton of work...the importer already checks if you've purchased an item, so we'd just need to store your wishlist url and update it once in a while. And, of course, instead of just ignoring purchased entries, it would remove them.
Good idea! -

How does it do that? Something provided by the Amazon APIs?
If the information is easily obtained, any reason why Camel doesn't periodically check for purchased items and remove them from tracking? (So far I've had to manually delete items from Camel after purchasing.) (This could be implemented via the FF extension by injecting a hook into the buy button, so items get immediately deleted when added to your shopping cart. Not perfect, as items in your cart don't always get purchased, but it could still suppress the item in Camel and schedule a status check to occur.)
Does Camel keep track of previously imported wishlist items that have been deleted for tracking? I'm considering repeating the import process to re-synchronize, and am wondering if that'll end up creating more work, if I have to go back and re-delete items I didn't want tracked. -

Correct, we use the API to get the wishlist information. This might change soon due to Amazon screwing with the wishlist API calls; basically, we might no longer be able to query wishlists via the API and would have to scrape the URL directly...
The reason we don't periodically check is just that we haven't put the infrastructure into place to watch user wishlists and update them. It's possible, we just haven't gotten to it yet. I'd prefer to do this without doing anything with the Camelizer, as that opens us up to privacy issues -- we don't want people thinking we're spying on them. We'd have to tread very carefully if we tried that.
Re-importing your wishlist would not track products you're already tracking, but I will have to check how it will react to products you were formerly tracking but are no longer. If you've purchased them, they won't be tracked...but if you didn't purchase them and cancelled the tracking, they might get tracked again.
Obviously we have plenty of room for improvement here! -

Yes, the major drawback of the service right now is the lack of an option to keep camelcamelcamel automatically synced with your Amazon wishlist.
Every time you update your Amazon wishlist, you're required to go to ccc and paste in a URL. It is a minor hassle, imho. -

We implemented this request recently. Here's the blog post with details: http://blog.camelcamelcamel.com/post/...
