FireFox 1.4 Camelizer update, suggestion/idea

With the 1.4 update I now have a permanent camel in the lower right of my window and I have no way to hide it.

A couple of suggestions, a way to hide the icon when on a site that doesn't support it and/or gray out the icon on sites that don't support the Camelizer.

Thank you for the feedback. Here's what I've been thinking about doing regarding this issue:

    1) Provide an option to hide the status bar icon altogether. You would still be able to add a toolbar icon to access the Camelizer, and you could bring the status bar icon back whenever you want. This is a good option to have, but doesn't really solve the problem of the Camelizer appearing active when there is no data available, so...

    2) When you're not viewing a supported page, the Camelizer icon should be greyed out. I really like this idea.

Do you prefer auto-hiding the icon or greying it out on unsupported sites?

I think graying out the icon would work best w/ an option to completely hide it, but hiding it kinda defeating the point of the add-on.

Also, adding a right click to the icon to get to the settings page would also be nice. :)

In the future the icon could be enhanced to change colors depending on what the item currently being viewed has done recently. Like black for no major change, green for a greater than % drop in price or red for a greater than % increase in price. Also it come with a default set of parameters and allow the user to customize the percents and colors to there liking.

Once we have settings to configure, we'll definitely want to throw in a right-click menu on the status bar icon.

I love the idea of the icon changing colors to indicate product status. We will have to play with it and see if we can come up with something that makes sense to most people.

Thanks again for sharing your ideas, they rock!
