Idea to refine automatic dismissal when navigating in same tab
The addition of the "create price watch" & close button is a very nice improvement, as is the automatic dismissal when creating a new tab. The dismissal might be further improved if it automatically dismissed when a user navigated to a page where the camelizer "could not detect the main product". If this confusing the add-in might provide an explanatory message when the user clicks on the camel button.

This seems like an idea that is destined to have an option / user preference attached to it. I can definitely see some people finding your suggestion the more natural way for the Camelizer to act, but I think others might like the option of keeping it open until they close it (in this case.)
We will play with the idea though and see what comes up! Thanks for sharing. -

Thanks for the consideration. If the dismissal is automatic, camelizer could be set to be always on. I am sure that would be beneficial to everyone interested in the price history data camelizer provides. I imagine even an inveterate shopper would prefer that camelizer not block 15% of the screen real estate when there is no historical price information available. A firefox shopping add-on that does a good job of activating only when it has useful information to display is "Invisible Hand".

I'm not sure it should be always on, but I agree that we shouldn't waste screen real estate! Like I said, we'll definitely play with the idea and see how it feels.
Invisible Hand has the benefit of only displaying bits of text though, right? We couldn't jam a chart into that little notification thing they use...granted, I have never tried it so I could be dead wrong about it! -

You have hit the nail on the head. Not wasting screen real estate is an important figure of merit. I look forward to the next iteration.
