Privacy and Camelizer extensions

What information, if any, do the camelizer extensions send back to camelcamel. Chrome informs me that the extension has access to all of my activity, including browsing history; and with no assurances from camel camel, don't feel comfortable installing. There really should be a privacy policy with this information.

Chrome says that because the Camelizer has to look at the page you're viewing to determine if it's supported by our extension. The extension sends the locale/country, product identifier, and page URL to our server, and nothing else (aside from whatever your browser regularly exposes with every request.)

To ensure your privacy, the Camelizer does not execute on any page that isn't hosted on a supported retailer's site, and further it does not execute on any secure/https page within supported sites.

So, while Chrome's security states that the extension has access to your browsing history, the Camelizer ignores it and focuses solely on the page you're actively viewing.

We have a slightly outdated -- we no longer modify retailer sites with our price history charts -- privacy policy listed with the Firefox addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire... . I'll add a note about this to our Chrome page, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
