Rebates
I just checked on one of the items on my camel page and then checked on the amazon page. The product has a rebate now. It would be nice if the camel tracking page could take that into account. I realize some people do not like rebates. But for me it is the difference between buying or waiting.

1Displaying rebates on the product page would be more doable in the short term than including them when calculating prices for price drop alerts. Is that still useful or not really?-
nima April 05, 2010 18:24How about a comprimise: An alert that there is now a rebate to check? That way you at least know that th rebate exists..It would of course be ideal to calculate them in/give the option to include themEditDeleteRemove

As someone who doesn't mind rebates...
Having the option to include them in price drop alerts as well as the graph would be far more useful IMO. Especially on Newegg, it seems like half the items I am watching are sold with rebates. It would be awesome if I could click a button and the price history graph would adjust to show the price history WITH rebates.
Otherwise it is very misleading... an item could have been $350 with a $100 rebate last week, and this week it drops to $300 with no rebate. Unless I was paying close attention, camel would mislead me into thinking this week's price is the lowest. IMO this makes camel a poor tool for tracking items that are often rebated. -
