when adding item to wishlist, prompt for desired price
Adding to another request to have bidirectional integration between Camel product list and the Amazon wishlist, how about modifying the Firefox extension to inject a form into the process of adding an item to your Amazon wishlist. It could add it to your Camel product list and prompt the user for a Amazon/Merchant/used desired price.

Perhaps this feature could (also) include creating price watches directly from product pages? I like it, though would prefer to avoid getting "in between" the user and Amazon in terms of form submissions and the like.Comment

Yeah, I mean it would essentially turn this into pricegrabber meets farecast, but I think that's a great thing! I think you make 1 page for each product. The product is defined by its product number-this is unique & searchable at all vendors (amazon, newegg etc). You then provide a graph for best lowest price OVERALL at all vendors.
Want to add more features? How about the ability to check/uncheck boxes for vendors you are interested in buying from? How about entering your zip to get ship + tax calculated into final price to compare?
Its a lot like pricegrabber, but you have the graphics, wish list importation, price alert, and plug-ins that make camel a must have.
Plus its then a universal wish-list you're keeping. -

I'd like to vote up the priority of this feature request, but Get Satisfaction doesn't seem to support that concept, unlike User Voice.
How do you collect feedback on feature priority? -

We now allow you to set the desired price and price types you'd like to track when you import a wishlist.
I think the problem with upvoting was that you made the topic a "question" instead of an "idea". I switched it and now there's an "I like this idea!" button in the original post that is akin to upvoting. -

Also, feature priority is a mix of how many users want the feature and which features I find most interesting to implement. (More of the former if Camel project manager Nithya has anything to say about it!)
